Begin by making a deep side part and create a rectangular section from the side part to your ear. Pull the rest of your hair into an elastic out of the way.
Starting at the part line begin a dutch lace braid. (If you don’t know how to create this type of braid visit our basic braids page to learn how to create different types of braids.) This is a french braid but you only add-in hair from the front section and you use the technique of dutch braiding rather than a regular french braiding to make the braid pop out more.
Once you have braided all the way down to your ear tie off the braid at your ear with a clear elastic.
Remove the elastic that you used to get your hair out of the way earlier and begin to brush hair towards the end of your braid.
Tie all your hair including the end from the braid into a high side ponytail.
Add in the flower clip and spray with hairspray or smooth with gel (optional)
